what a wild game. i stopped paying attention after guillen's grand slam (i've been working @ the computer with the radio on/off, girlfriend was leaving for work, etc.) but i just turned it back on and the game's tied, with contreras retiring his past 11 batters.. wtf?

That's one of the signs of a good team. Do not quit/lay down when you get hammered early. Down 0-4 and end up winning 7-5? That's a good team.

i only saw the first inning before i left for work. my 2 thoughts then: ozuna still sucks in LF, and contreras is gonna be pitchin like an @sshole again.

my mood got exponentially better when my fellow sox fan friend texted me with "its all startin to come together frankie!" didnt know the situation, but knew they had to have taken the lead or won.

that bullpen...my god. lights out is even an understatement. aardsma and sisco (and all we had to give up was Ffucking cotts and gload?! :lol:)have been brilliant. jenks is getting there...and macdougal has been very solid ever since we traded for him
