ChiSox have the biggest drop in batting avg from last year (-.056)
MIN (-.012) DET (-.039)

10th biggest drop in ERA (-0.87)
MIN (0.24) DET(0.22)


2nd largest run/gm drop (-1.4)
MIN (-0.2) DET (-0.3)

Wow, well since they are in 2nd place and 2 games over .500 while hitting so poorly it seems they have nowhere to go but up.

I sure hope so Hawkeye. The BA will almost assuredly go up, the ERA is hopefully a positive trend

I'm taking last year's ERA as down from the norm so expect a pretty big improvement. It won't stay this good but will be markedly better than 2006.
