I actually thought they should have shut him down for 15 days when the original injury happened. This guy needs to be productive, and I'd rather him just sit out now, and get healthy, then try and bring him back too soon. |

It would be nice to have Gload right now (still better to have Sisco though). Who will be the regular DH while he's out? |

My God. Get over Ross Gload everybody. Cintron, Ozuna, and Anderson be fine replacements for 15 games or so. |

Obviously Ozzie's been grooming Anderson for that. Keep him in the line up anyway. He can just stand there and walk half the time anyway. |

It's not like I think he's some sort of world beater all star to be. He would have been a good, reliable backup at DH. It is obvious he didn't fit with the team this year and I'm glad for him that KW moved him so he could get some playing time. For me, Ozuna should be the #1 replacement at DH with his speed and aggressiveness, but Cintron is a decent option as well. We don't need more power in the lineup as it stands so I'm not that worried about losing HRs. I'd rather we strung more base hits together and beat a team down than just hitting HRs. Ozuna can help do that. |

I agree. Ozuna should get the bulk of the playing time in Thome's absence. In fact. Bat him leadoff against lefties and move Erstad to the 9 hole in those games. Put Ozuna at 9 against righties and then you have speed guys back to back after the 1st inning. You have more options for Ozzie then. Hit and run, steals and the like. |
