Nice share, Cashman.

Would have liked to see more than two catchers in there.

Good list nonetheless.

Doesn't sound like Collins is one any more. Not sure they really have any catcher prospects.

Very encouraging read...there is a lot of talent to build around. Agreed on Catcher.....they gotta find one pretty soon....they sure as hell have yet to draft one.

The Red Sox won with Sandy Leon catching.

Don't give up so easy. He's improving. But this will be his 3rd year and he needs a big jump. Hey, he throws runners out. That's something. People liked Flowers and all he could do was frame.

This article really highlights that Machado / Arenado are way more important than Harper. Way more OF depth in place already. Harper may sell some tickets, but that contract will end up being regrettable.

Not giving up on Collins but they need to sign another catcher.

I think with Harper, you are buying to brand of Harper more than the player. This is why, I do not understand him going to LA.

Agreed. I think Harper stays in Washington DC

Which makes getting rid of Narvaez baffling

I have a new theory on Narvaez. It got to the point he couldn't catch the young guys because he was such a butcher and Smith, for whatever reason, got the most out of them. So he gets relegated to Shields and Rodon and Rodon in particular didn't like him.

I don't disagree, but Hahn seems to like getting rid of catchers. I don't hate the move, I think the bullpen arm is better than the backup catcher. I think Sale flew off his rocker, when they got rid of Flowers. That guy was a good framer.

Thanks for the list. Top heavy in the outfield and below average in the infield and catching. I like the possibilities in the pitching, especially for the pen.
