So this guy is throwing, I am sure not that hard but damn. Looking up TJ surgery, it appears a time table of 12-16 months is the recovery time. So, is throwing this early normal? Are they gonna let him throw a little at the end of the season?

At least it's not the vaunted towel drills.

you'd think a guy like that could probably throw 90mph left handed.

I’m not even sure what this is supposed to mean. Is it an insult? A joke? A pun?

I've kinda wondered why players haven't tried throwing from their other arms after a surgery like this.

I hope that someone puts a choke chain on this kid because I just have the feeling that left to his own make-up he will self destruct as a pitcher. I just get the felling that this kid thinks that he is smarter than anyone else.

Yeah I have and you are right. I coached a kid like this who got drafted in the first round by the Pittsburgh Pirates and he would not listen to anyone about protecting his arm from damage. He was 90+ in high school and never got better than that in college and it was because he abused his arm. But the guy got a couple of million in the draft and did make the majors for a part of the year and kicked around for a bit. He was an asshole and I hope that this kid doesn't end up the same but someone had better put things pretty blunt to him.

Kopech seems too humble to be an asshole.

Yeah I kinda feel bad for Sox fans . At least we got a couple good seasons out of Prior before he hit the skids . You guys got what , 10 innings ? SAD !

Kopech and Prior have pitched the exact same number of innings in the World Series.
