He will be fired by the Cubs and the SOx need a new manager. Someone to take the young guys to the next level. |

Isn't Joe the "BEST IN THE BUSINESS"? What happened to him since the Cubs hired him? Did Theo perform a lobotomy on him? |

he'll get a 4 year 12 mil offer... but if he wins 100+ games in year four the 5th year becomes guaranteed for 13 mil.... im readying my shocked sunglasses just in case this 5 yr 25 mil off is rejected by maddon |

A 1-3 start seems to only make Cubs fans more obsessed with the Sox. Conns has started more Sox threads than I have over the past several weeks. |

We will go over this once again: JR refuses to negotiate contracts with agents for any staff other than players. He only negotiates with player agents because it is required of him but he has tried on multiple occasions to negotiate directly with the player. No manager with options negotiates his contract outside the presence of his agent (and why would he?). So, both the Bulls and White Sox are reduced to only hiring coaches who are desperately looking for their first job or have no other options in the industry. Look at the list of Sox coaches since JR ownership began. He inherited and fired Larussa. Fregosi and Torborg had a little bit of experience but not many options. In the last 27 years with six new hires not a single one had MLB head coaching experience |

He was discarded as trash (clearly they knew what they had) by the organization on the north and the Sox happily ate up their scraps. |

Why not. Maddon is worth a 3 year contract. After 3 years people are tired of his act. |

First of all, SHUT THE FUCK UP Secondly, there are so many examples already, if you dont know then you are going out of your way to not see it. The latest is Jed Hoyer being disappointed in Schwarber not starting opening day. I will accept your apology in the form of a new thread |

I also have the pleasure of remembering multiple playoff appearances and meaningful games since 2015. How has life been for you Sox fans since 2005? |

Funny how Theo teams seem to find the perfect vitamins for his players over the last 20 years. |

Joe Maddon might be a decent manager for the 2020-2022 White Sox. If he is available, they should look into it. |

That is what I am saying. No, what I am saying is he gets the most of out his roster. What other manager would have had a better record then Maddon? Maddon has a .588 W/L% with the Cubs. Ozzie had .524 with the White Sox. 2006 being his best year at .611 compared to Maddon's .655! in 2016. Sparky Anderson has a .545 for his career and he is considered one of the best in the history of the game. |

Ozzie has a .750 career postseason W/L% Maddon's? .478 |
