Ideally they'll let him catch 3x/week and DH 2x/week. DFA both Castillo and Alonzo, and let Collins, Jimenez each take 1/3 of the DH AB. and let the other 1/3 be used to give McCann, Abreu, Anderson, and Moncada a little bit of summer rest.

No way I let him catch that much if James McCann is healthy. Have a nice rotation of C/1B/DH for him.

If he's really going to be a catcher, he needs the reps. If he's going to be a Schwarberish catcher, then fine just being somebody's personal catcher is enough.

Dude's batting .258 in AAA, K's every 3rd PA and is suspect behind the dish? Hope the White Sox didn't burn a high draft pick on Collins.

I hope you're right and Alonzo is gone. If not, it doesn't really make sense to sit McCann just to get Collins his reps.
