Top 100 Entries

1. Luis Robert- # 5 over all;
2. Michael Kopech- #18 over all;
3. Andrew Vaughn- #23 over all, #1 1st Baseman as well;
4. Dylan Cease- #25 over all; and
5. Nick Madrigal- #43 over all.

Five entries in the top 50 isn't bad, but I'm sure Michael Kopech would rather be off this list and pitching in a major league rotation at this point.

Jonathan Stiever also had a meteoric rise from #27 on the preseason White Sox list to #8 on the mid season list.

Stiever should be where Dunning is at. He is the best pitcher now in the minors for us.

From reading the scouting report, it sounds like he's a fastball/curve ball guy like Cease. What else do you know about him?

I think he is 21yrs old, and was drafted in 2018. He seemed to so so in Low A this year, and seems to be doing, pretty pretty pretty good in high A. My guess, he gets another promotion later in the year to AA. Starts next year in AA and moves to AAA with an ETA of 2021.

A few years ago, it was awful. They shored it up with these guys, and so the system looks decent, but, unless someone blossoms, it is top-heavy, and who knows if Kopech (and Cease) will work out. Open the wallet and pay for pitching or hope one of the outfielders they have keeps hitting and can be traded.

Can it be all that good if they just bounced the director of their minor league system?
