That was to me the BEST EVER catch because of the importance of it and the difficulty of basically re-catching the ball as he was on the way to the ground. Not to mention that he went into the game in the 9th inning as a DEFENSIVE REPLACEMENT. |

Ja, and Scotty Pods was a defense replacement in left inna 9th, maybe. I think. Remember the great Shingo back in 20004-2005? Nice NBCSports article ICYMI. Remember That Guy: White Sox reliever Shingo Takatsu https://sports.yahoo.com/remember-guy-w ... 58274.html |

And Shingo had the famous Frisbee pitch which hitters hated because it embarassed them when they missed it. GREAT MEMORIES of those characters |

It's not even the best play in White Sox history. The Uribe foul ball catch in Game 4 of the World Series was much better, and far more important in the scheme of things. |

But WIse's catch was the harder play and I'd argue that the Sox were going to win that WORld Series whether Uribe made the play or not while if Wise doesn't come down with that ball, Burhrle loses a Prefect Game which happens so rarely in baseball. |

Of course, The single greatest 2005 performance was Ozzie's guy, El Duque. Best 30 minutes (?) of 2005. "I know we're in it now"-Sox Fans |
