...and lost. Fuck, I thought I was going to have a great story to tell when we were up in the 4th but we kicked the ball around and that was that.

It was funny because the kids from our team ran up to him after the game and asked for an autograph. He was incredibly accommodating.

You see all these chumps overreacting all season. Then you see an MLB Hall of Famer quietly handle a team and understand how ridiculous some of these guys are.

What was he doing there? He's a coach?

He came in second in the tournament and definitely did not have the second most talent.

My favorite from the weekend is the "pitching coach" calling every pitch and location. Hey dick, if a 12 year old kid could locate his pitches in one of your nine zones he wouldn't be pitching on your team battling for fifth place.

Ventura .463 win percentage
Renteria .420 win percentage

Maybe you can find an embed a tweet here that shows how a Ryno is such a good manager and is still employed somewhere.

Former Minor League Manager of the Year.
Came up through the managerial system, didn't expect special treatment.
More than paid his dues and got shafted by the Cub and dealt a garbage hand by the Phillies.

Then he said fuck it. He's pretty happy watching his grand kids growing up and playing little league at this point.

So you're saying Ryno would be an improvement over Renteria?

All irrelevant because if he was as good as you say he is, he would have a manager's job.

He didn't get distracted so much as he tripped over you after you were thoroughly knocked out.

I can multitask. Slap fighting and laughing at your dumb post are not mutually exclusive.

Jim was on with one of the shows this past weekend, he sounded so grounded, very level-headed, hardly came across as a super-successful HOF pro athlete. We've heard he was a real regular guy as a player, and I'm glad to hear he's still that way, and involved in youth athletics.

Could have been yet another trophy on the CSFMB mantle, but gd let us all down, again...

I know folks who have known him since he was a high school basketball star. They say he is authentic as can be.

You must have guessed he was a giant then because he would be noticeable in a crowd with how big he is. You could mistake him for a football player.
