Be great if those last three games meant something playoff-wise to either or both teams... |

I'll be honest. I'll be happy if they are able to play those last 3 games. |

Nah by the time September rolls around it'll football season and cancelling football will incite an actual civil war. And they just cant be seen playing favourites like that. |

But if enough big name players decide it’s not worth it then there goes the season. Same with football. |

They'd better clean up vs. KC and Detroit with Minnesota and Cleveland as their main competition. With the NL Central on their schedule also, lots of competitive teams that should make this interesting. 33-35 wins should win this division. White Sox appear to have a bright future, but it's crapshoot trying to figure out if they can get hot on a 15-20 game stretch. |

Almost to a man all 2,000 NFL players want to play. They are already breaking social distancing protocols just to practice with eachother. |

I'm going to be intrigued by what they do with the starting pitching staff this year. Assuming health, which is a huge assumption, they have seven guys who could potentially start (Giolito, Kuechel, Gonzalez, Lopez, Rodon, Kopech, and Cease). Do they treat it like the playoffs and give the starter a short (3 or 4 inning) rope, and use some of those guys as a second starter, or are two of those guys relegated to a more traditional bullpen role? |

Deep indeed, I'd go 6 man rotation and take it easy on Kopech. |

If the Sox are in contention, maybe they stretch him out to 4 innings the last two weeks and have him piggyback with Gio. |

You're going to start Giolito and Kuechel and you need to start Kopech and Cease, just to learn what you have. From Lopez, Gonzalez, and Rodon, pick your favorite, and then use the other two to back up Kopech and Cease when they stumble. |

Gio has to at least start the season in the rotation. I think they will be cautious with Kopech given the short training period. I don't see him throwing even 60 innings. Probably 50. |

word is Kopech has the rona, so that should delay his summer camp Gonzalez said his arm is back to 95%. I remember the reports being that he would be ready for opening day in april but he is only at 95% in July. If they are going to team two pitchers together for shorter innings, obviously he is the candidate. Start him as a lefty and then bring in a righty like Kopech by the fifth to throw off the other teams lineup. |

Even if he isn't ready until August, they have what should be a decent/solid rotation - Giolito, Kuechel, Gonzalez, Lopez, and Cease. Lots of question marks, but there is nice upside with Cease and Lopez. If Giolito and Keuchel do what we expect, they will be fine. |

They should be okay manpower wise and with their bull-pen the pitching should be good over-all. |
