Since the Cardinals season seems to be over before it even started, can I jump on? Exciting young team on my local channels so I don't have to pay extra to watch baseball. And I really want to watch baseball. I won't shit up threads...I promise.

Bonus is that Kirkwood may not want me banned if I post more in local sports threads.

Everyone should have a favorite team in each league.

Funny thing is the White Sox have always been my American League team.

It’s a natural alliance. I like the Twins.

Cards fans are allowed because we share a common foe.

Cardinal fans are Ohio State fans of baseball. It's problematic to join with them but covid is causing unusual allegiances.

IMO the Marlins and Cards will have huge advantages in a week or 2 when fully healthy.

Bullshit. You can't just dump a terrible contract like HY on us. If we're gonna take him on you gotta give us RPB too

THIS.
White Sox, Cubs.
Sorry...I'm with Nas. I like both teams and I care about the Chicago on the uniform.

My backups:
AL: Houston - This stems from my childhood with the orange uniforms and the bad motherfucker that was Nolan Ryan
NL: Brewers - Fuck the Packers but I've always loved the name Brewers. I like Miller park. I like the MB logo. Done.

Teams I hate: All NY. Boston, St. Louis. Cleveland. I want to hate the Twins, but they're just too good at operating at a lower payroll.

The rest of you can go back to being meatballs and hating the crosstown rivals

#1 I'm a Sox fan.

I do watch the Cubs and I root for them. We go to games. Wife is a fan.

but, the Braves were my NL team as a youte and continue to be.

I hate the Twins, Tigers, Redsox, I'll throw the Tigers in here again, Cleveland. Fucking Cleveland. Don't mind the Yankees so much, probably b/c I appreciate the Dynasty aspect (similar to my Patriots fandom).

Brewers are fine. Now that they are out of the AL, I don't really care. Meatball Cubs vs. Brewers fans stuff is moderately humorous.

Don't care about the West Coast teams. It's like they don't exist.

The first Cubs game I ever went to as a 10-year-old (dragged their by my friend's mom, a crazed Cub fan), I promptly bought a white Cardinals hat.

Always loved the Busch Batsmen.
