I love the kid. Was 22nd round pick who had to prove himself at every level of baseball. Can hit and can play just about any position. Now if they'd only bring up my other over-achiever, Mercedes.

I am pleasantly surprised that they won this game. Credit to all of the pitchers in this game along with some really great defensive play over-all. Garcia has been a great surprise since filling in for Anderson and Mendick shows himself to be good at 2nd base.

Gotta wonder, though, about all of the injuries piling up and a lot of them are strange injuries. This is a funny season in more ways than one.

Some pretty strange injuries to pitchers. Rodon was described to have suffered blood in his forearm? What the hell is that? Not a lot of pitchers get bicep cramps either. That's a pretty new one on me. Maybe on the throw to first?
