Postseason experience. He was a bolt of lightning back when he was with KC.

Dyson is a good move. The Pirates brought up their high ranked prospect CF, and did Dyson a favor and moved him to a contending team.

He will be a defensive replacement for Eloy, pinch run a lot, and be depth in case of an outfield injury (or an injury to Encarnacion if Eloy DHs). He is an excellent base stealer even in his 30s, which is even more important in this regular season with the extra inning rules.
