It's cool recognition and he's good, but RBI Baseball is currently the non-union Mexican equivalent of a video game baseball. To be fair, Javy was on the cover of the good video baseball game last year, and he sucked. They have a tiered player system that people get moved up and down in based on their season performance, but they couldn't lower his rating since he was on the cover. |

RBI Baseball was the shit back in the day. I probably played that more than anything on NES. I remember buying the first edition of the reboot that came out about 5 years ago. I just wanted a simple baseball game that I could mess around with. That game was completely awful. I guess I should have been expecting that with the $15 price point. I honestly would have been happier with the same 1980's graphics and updated rosters. |
