Well, they’ve got two games on the Ohio River apparently. Tonight’s delay taught me that Comcast has the Hawks analysts awkwardly carry hockey sticks while replaying highlights, which is cute. |

Today is helping calm my nerves on what we can do until Eloy gets back in August. Cease is looking pretty good for the back of our rotation. |

It's fun watching the pitchers hit. I enjoy the different rules for each league. |

Is Eloy really going to be back before September? They shaved a month off of his estimated return right around opening day. They changed it from 5-6 months to 4-5 from the point of injury so that would almost certainly mean August if not late July if things go right. |

Yoan continuing his hot few weeks. If Yoan, Abreu, and Grandal hit to what they should, this team will be fine. |

Last week, it was the Tigers, who have a shit line-up. Cease doing this against one of the hottest line-ups in baseball just feels different. |

Line-up is fine, about the best you can do today with Eaton being held out to get over some nagging stuff he has been dealing with. |

In the modern era, only two pitchers have gone at least six innings, gotten the win, struck out 10 or more hitters, given up 1 or fewer hits, and went 3-3 at the plate. Those two guys are; Catfish Hunter and Dylan Cease Dylan Cease also became the first AL pitcher in 51 years to outhit the entire opposing lineup. |

If Adam Eaton (who had an .812 OPS and 3 HR the first 3 weeks of the season before he got banged up) was not on the roster, we'd be getting a healthy dose of Nick Williams (who reached base 3 times without a hit in 14 plate appearance) in the outfield. Just another uninformed comment from wfr. |

During night games the first three weeks of the season Eaton was killing it. |

Just another uninformed comment from wfr. He's won us a couple games. But he is also a china doll who's swinging at 59 footers right now. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he's slumping because he's beat up. Just please stop jumping into nets going after foul balls. |
