Interesting. 2nd place team trading to the 1st place team in the same division. |

Slight upgrade, I guess. I hope they don't give up another Tatis. Literally and figuratively. |

It'll depend on what they give up, but as long as its nothing crazy then this is fine. He's not Story, but he's better than Leury. |

If it keeps Leury out of the starting lineup, that's good. Not a huge upgrade, but it is an improvement. Bullpen is a much bigger problem. |

BABIP of .256 is way down...maybe he's due for a reversion to the mean. |

Konnor Pilkington going to Cleveland. If that's it, then this works. |

The guy has some power, and they are looking for more home runs. If he hit more than 10 down the stretch it's a win. |

You probably keep him over Goodwin just because of the speed and defense. Goodwin is marginally better with the bat, but you aren't really counting on that 25th guy for offense. They may both be gone when Robert gets back. |

career year in terms of power with a down year everywhere else in a contract year for him so it looks like he is selling out for HR. The low BABIP with a career .272 hitter should mean that we get a better player than he is showing. Next to zero positional flexibility. What's his reputation defensively? I see he won his first Gold Glove last year so that will result in a sizable increase in defense at the position over what we have. Escobar is slightly better and Pilkington is a superior player to the Brewers offer (although both are non prospects). Sox balked at his medicals for no logical reason. Relatively shit move compared to the upgrades of the other likely playoff teams and the low cost of what I consider better 2B. They are incrementally better today. |

Hamilton is the kind specialist you keep as the last man on a playoff roster. |

In all of these trades, Hahn could of given up equal or better value, and not depleted our system. Hand could of taken the place of Bummer, who seems to be broke. |

I don't really need a great closer that we hope can adjust to middle relief. Get me a guy who is great at middle relief right now. |
