Honestly it seems like they’re trying to bubble wrap the team for October at this point.

Ozzie said as much on the postgame yesterday. He said with this lead and where it is in the season, he wouldn't really care about the day to day. But come September 20th, it's all hands on deck to get ready for the division series.

Yeah. Hamilton gets the PR/6th OF role in a playoff roster, so no Clam. They may want to give Collins another week of everyday playing time, they don't burn an option if he is back within 20 days of being sent to Charlotte, and AAA is playing later than pre-pandemic.
