Loading the bases in the first inning: Good!

Scoring only one run in the inning: Not Good.

How do you have a dugout with no fence/wall/railing? They protect the fans with netting 300+ feet from home, but dugout is wide open

Have the players wear masks.

HUGE win.

But they gotta win the series. Cant just be content with this like in Tampa.

Also this was a wildcard starting pitcher. It's the regular starters that are terribly inconsistent and need to get on track.

Also, hard to believe Tony Kemp is still around.

Fuck him. He sux.

Hard to believe the A's in playoff contention and their stadium is fuckin empty.

If the A's do make the playoffs, they WILL have a chance at winning the World Series. Why? They have 2 ex-Cubs (less than 3 which would then exempt them from winning the World Series due to the ex-Cub factor): Tony Kemp and Chagin or some shit.

A's have been bad for awhile. About the time Bassitt got his face broke.

A's will follow the Raiders to Vegas at some point this decade.

Great win last night. It was worth staying up for and nice to see the pen do it's job. Kimbrel just gave up that single. I won't hold him responsible for the inherited runner as he'd get a clean 8th inning in a playoff game.

IDK about that 1st statement. Vegas works well for football since it’s an attractive destination for the visiting teams fans and most games are on a Sunday. That’s not going to work as well for baseball - particularly when it’s brutally hot for 1/2 the season. Vegas is best visited in the Spring and Fall.

Not sure about Vegas, but I don't think they will stay in Oakland. They've been trying to leave, off and on, since the 80s. I hope they stay.

A road trip to Nashville to see the White Sox played would be excellent.

Well if not them, it's gonna be the Rays. Hopefully the Rays so realignment isn't needed.

Rays are doing their goofy half Tampa/half Montreal deal right?

Or did that die already?

After the troubles of Toronto and then the NHL, I hope it's dead.

I give credit to Vaughn.

Never played outfield his entire life and he's not just serviceable. I'd say he's above average.

Anybody going to talk about how natural and self-deprecating Beckham has been? Also doesn’t hurt he sounds just enough like DJ. I’m a big fan.

I AM SO FUCKIN SICK KUECHLE.

HE SUX!

I DONT THINK IVE SEEN HIM A WIN A SINGLE START THIS YEAR, AT LEAST NOT IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS.

HE SHOULD BE CUT.

LOSES EVERY GAME AND DESTROYS MOMENTUM.

GET RID OF HIM! HE DOESNT BELONG ON A PLAYOFF TEAM!!!

terrible loss tonight. fell asleep at the wheel.

win one game and they get content.

Now ur backed into a situation where u gotta win a day game on the road. The Sox never do good in road day games. Toronto being the exception.

This team is .500 since mid-July and theyve faced a lotta weak competition too.

get ur fuckin asses in gear!!!

not even worth flipping the station when keuchel is pitching

they get behind almost immediately and offensively it seems like the team considers his starts to be off days

Get them today and win a road series against a pretty good team

Agreed. Checked the score twice on my phone and didn't bother to watch a minute. The result was as expected.

Gonna need Lopez to be on his game, then. Runs may be at a premium with this lineup.

Andrew Vaughn is awful right now and wherever he is placed in the order always seems to be a spot to drive in runs
