Could have used Trayce Thompson tonight. Already has 4 RBI for the Doyers

Hard to believe the Sox were favored comfortably in this game. -135. Yes, Cease was pitchin', but the Orioles are good and they were at home.

Easy money, if u bet on Baltimore.

I know it was a big number to lay on the road but Rodon against a Tiger team he's incredibly familiar with seemed like the play of the day

After the first inning, the White Sox had 13 base runners. That resulted in ONE additional run.

Absolutely pathetic.

They are a singles hitting team, that's slow and doesn't run the bases very well. So it takes 3+ hits in an inning to score 1 run.

Of course, they finally hit a couple yesterday that would be HR's just about anywhere else. 400' to left, with a 15' wall just for fun. In the end, money talks, but if I'm a power hitting, righthanded free agent, there is no chance I'm signing with the O's.

And they suck at defense, so can’t exactly score their way out of giving up excess runs. It takes 6-7 hits to make up for 1 or 2 dumb plays.

I see nothing about feet in your injury list.

Somehow the Sox are favored -120 on the road against a better team.

Easy money on the Orioles.

I saw it midday way before the game started. Couldn't post it until later.

It’s mind boggling how the Sox have become a singles-only team.

It's hard to believe Giolito is 10-7 and Kopech is 4-10, when u compare ERA's and WHIP's and shit.

It really is. I know people blame Menechino and their certainly is evidence to his style sucking the power from teams. However, why is a 35 year old veteran like Abreu even listening to a hitting coach?

It's obvious that it's the balls not the batters. I can't tell you why it's having more of an effect on the White Sox than on most other teams but it is having an effect across MLB.

Detroit has 72 HR. Yankees, Astros, Braves not affected. Astros/Yanks have HR friendly dimensions, don't know about Braves. Everybody else is down. Saw Robert the other day watch his "HR ball" hit the front side of the warning track.

It could be argued Menechino is on the cutting edge. I won't, but somebody might. Whether it's 1929, 69, or 2029, you need big boppers.

IMU could be taking a victory lap about Abreu's HR barely getting over the fence...if he were still here.

Get your ass in here IMU

Are you saying 72 homers is a lot at this point in the season? There were years when the Sox hit well over 200.

I think it's possible that for whatever reason righthanded hitters are being affected more than lefties. And all the Sox power is righthanded.

Watching the game last night and noticed something odd....On Robert's last at bat, he was swing one handed (top hand). Not sure if his left hand/wrist is still hurt or he was fooled by several pitches in the at bat but every swing on his final at bat was that way. Anyone else see this?

Yeah. I'm gonna say his wrist is still bothering him.

'For all intensive purposes', last night was a good game for the Sox. Solid pitching, scored late and then scored again, good defense. Its amazing what happens when you throw strikes, make the plays you should in the field, score a few runs, and don't run like a jackass around the bases.

If we're lucky, we might get one or two more games like that this season from the Sox.

72 is crazy low. Won't get to 100. Which probably hasn't been seen in decades.

Yes. Very bizarre. I thought he was getting fooled but he did it every time.

Sox are favored again today. With Lance Lynn pitchin'. Should be a good Oriole moneyline bet.

Scrappy Sox single and fielder’s choice their way to tie the game.

Hopefully a bunch of walks and an error or two can get them a third run.
