The Cleveland Guardians are the youngest team in MLB. The future looks very bright for them, with a very good young team and a very good manager.

We should trade everybody for aces, then sign free agent aces, put out the Charlotte lineup, maybe keep Abreu and bat him leadoff, and leave the rest of the managing to a laptop.

Why not just let the aces play the field and hit? That way if you blow through the ace bullpen you still have 8 aces sitting in the field who can pitch.

Whatever. All I know is we're going to win 107 games.

I believe the Cubs were the youngest team in MLB when they won the series.

Cleveland is only the 5th best team in their own league.

A rare miss by Elmhurst Steve. At least wait until December for this.

White Sox fans know the White Sox suck so pointing out the White Sox are going to lose to the Guardians next year too doesn't have an impact.

I blame the time off because you don't post when the Cubs aren't good so you are out of practice.

That's a pretty good plan. And it's been done successfully. It's just damn hard to execute.

See the 2022 New York Mets.

I don't agree that there are 4 better teams in the A.L. Maybe by record, but if the Cleveland starting pitchers are all good to go in the playoffs, they could surprise. I think it's a team that may well win a title in the next couple years.

Nah. This was a team put together with masking tape and bobby pins. it likely could finish 3rd or 4th next season in the same division. It should be embarrassing to the twins and sox to lose to that team, especially the Sox.

The Guardians might not be better than the Orioles. Cleveland gets to beat up on KC (fired GM), Detroit (fired GM) and Chicago (should have fired Kenny Williams a decade ago). Baltimore gets to play the Yankees, Rays, and Blue Jays.

They play tough but that lineup is not good.

They have nice pitching.

White Sox lineup talent is better. I don't think anyone would deny that. It's also young and really just coming into its prime.

Cleveland is a first round exit.
The end.

  The Sox don't have a single player that can even sniff Jose Ramirez' jock. Your lineup is better? GTFO

There are 9 players in a batting order. Go ahead and analyze.

I'm not so sure it is.

The actual lineup they put out there most days this year, I’m reasonably sure it’s not.

The hypothetical lineup where everyone is healthy and playing to his perceived potential - that’s a good lineup.

Its too bad they play the games IRL. The full strength White Sox vs the Dodgers playing the 'On Paper World Series' would have been fun!

This is spot on.
