Eloy can hit. He's such a dum-dum that I sometimes forget that.

Sox threw someone out at the plate for the first time since 1994.

Those Padres unis need to earn someone a spot in hell. No forgiveness for that.

I know that when I'm on 2nd and the tying run is in the on deck circle, I'm extra careful not to get picked off. That is, when I'm not checking out women in the stands. I'm in San Diego, right? Yeah, I don't give a shit about getting picked off.

Other pitcher must have been better. What was his name so I will know who's better than Cease?

He has. I think also that Crochet will be a stud and you also have the possibility of Jimmy Lambert and Lopez bieng goo possibilities to start. Then they also have Vera as a possibility.

Sounds like a rotation good enough for 4th place in the AL central, Hawk-A-Roo

I think that those uniforms alone are enough to keep anyone from wanting to play for the Pads ever. They look like the rejected League of Their Own unis.

Think so? I think that Cease, Lynn, Crochet, Kopech, Cueto along with Lambert, Lopez, Vera, is an excellent starting pitching depth for a good pennant contending team. The Sox didn't suck because of pitching. No Sir. They sucked because of LaRussa and Reinsdorf giving us a terrible two way outfield, lousy catching, and a miserable 6-9 batting order. Oh. btw, our bench sucked also.

Would it be a surprise. I guess we'll see but I expect the experts to have them as no less than contenders but most likely divisional favorites.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. If the Indians make a deep playoff run, or make it to the WS, they will be the preseason favorites for sure.

I don't give a shit about baseball but I do have to laugh at the Sox not making the playoffs. And their disappointing season definitely puts a smile on face when I think about all the jealous, insecure Sox on this forum that took pleasure when the Cubs kept experiencing postseason failure after 2016.   especially @ Good Dolphin!

I absolutely love the resilience this team has shown in clawing its way back to .500.

Don't stop now, boys! Keep on fighting!

Who's your pick to click against the Twins tonight, Thomas?
