For a Cubs fan, you spend a lot of time obsessing about the Sox.

A guy they didn't give a long term deal to may be gone? Nice work Woodward and Bewrnstein.

He's got plenty of company.

They should have moved Giolito this past offseason.

I never thought he wanted to be here. Sox stuck with him through the worst season of pitching in the entire league in 2018. They stuck with him through a terrible year last year. His response to contract extensions was always that he knew his market value.

He's a guy whose eye is always on his next career. I think he wants to be in southern california or, as a consolation, new york. I can't really say he's a jerk as, even after all this time, he's never really opened himself up to the fans. He just seems like one of those people who thinks anywhere but the coasts are "flyover states".

He seems fine to me. Leads the staff in every category. Cease seems to rather walk guys than get outs. But whatever.
