Post subject:  I want the SOX to lose 120 games
As a Sox fan, I want this.

It would be cool. If you're gonna suck, might as well suck real bad. Tons of teams have had 100 loses. But 120 is rare company. So let's make this a Sox team that will be talked about for decades.

Right now we're on pace for 112. I'll be tracking this all year without watching too many games.

This is pretty much all I'm rooting for with the Sox this year.

Detroit Tigers - 2003 - 119.
Philadelphia Athletics - 1916 - 117.

Shit. Only one team has lost 120 games. Thought it was more than that. The 1962 Mets.

Christ, then lets get 121 for the all time record.

Wrong. We cant' draft higher then 8 or 9 I think. Because of where we drafted last year. It's a new draft system in MLB. They don't go worst record to best record in the draft anymore.

So that makes this season suck more. I love it.

You shouldn't be saying that about this team. They're sleeping giants. At any moment they could do stuff.

If only they had pricier tickets, a hotel, more billboards and their own pay tv channel they’d reward their fans by spending big on free agents and ultimately be perennial contenders.

They can pick no higher than 10th.

They picked the wrong year to be historically bad.

I realize it’s sarcasm but it’s still funny that in the one year they would get the top pick they actually won’t.

Is there ANY chance that they weren't aware of this before they created perhaps the worst team in MLB history? Given how incompetent they appear to be, I don't know if I can put that past them.

Well, this 13 game losing streak has put them on pace for 121 losses. I love it. It really is astonishing how bad they are.

This team is awful and the most painful watch I can remember in any Chicago sport. Schriffen is as bad an announcer as I have ever heard. I’ll take Benetti chewing on air, he’ll I’d rather listen to barnyard animals chewing over anything that comes out of Schriffen.

He's way too scripted and too much of a cheerleader. Stop acting as if the team is on the verge of turning a corner or, even better, not one of the worst teams in MLB history. Just call the game in front of you.

I heard some of the 1st game with the Dodgers and he made it sound like these two teams were getting ready for a heavyweight fight. I get the Dodgers are good, but they aren't exactly in game 7 of the WS here.
