It ended in 2016. Chicago baseball now is just boring, both teams are shells of their former selves. The Cubs play in what was a kinda gay but at least vibrant area that is now baseball Disneyland and the Sox are on the A’s trajectory. There’s no juice left in it. Gone are the days of the bloodbath crosstown series and all that rivalry. Sad to see. |
