They’re going to be taken away from Chicago. |

Dave Stewart wants to get a team to Nashville so if this sale goes through, there's a decent chance it also means relocation. Watch this franchise thrive in Nashville under new ownership. I'd follow the team if they go to Nashville. Heck, they'd be closer to me than they are now and I have no real attachment to the Chicago area anymore. |

Where’d Dave Stewart get the money for this? Is he fronting some Nashville Clay Bennett? |

USA wrote: They’re going to be taken away from Chicago. At a minimum it's going to make some of the owners think about announcing expansion now if they want to prevent the move. Nashville is going to get a team somehow. But I think most small market owners want expansion because that's about $4B to spread across 30 existing teams. |

As a Cubs fan, we must protect the Chicago White Sox |

At some point this team is going to be sold, and when it does, it's moving. It can probably do better having most of Nashville or Charlotte, than a quarter of Chicago. |

Jerry's been steadfast the White Sox will only be sold after he died to reap the tax benefits. Now all of a sudden he changes his tune and he's open to selling. Sounds like another saber rattling strategical maneuver by the wise man to milk the system. Either way even if the White Sox move Chicago wouldn't go long before it gets another American league franchise. |

A charter franchise moving out of one of the biggest cities in the country after 125 years to go to the bachelorette party capital of America… I thought guys bumping dicks and dancing after every play was supposed to stop this kind of thing? |

We have plenty of tranny pros here for Dave Stewart I'm not following them if they move, even though we are at a point in time where it couldn't be easier to follow an out of town team. Right now is a perfect time for a split. Maybe I will align with the Brewers. I can get there in 1.5 hours so it would be easy to go to several games. or I could just peace out on baseball. I didn't find it difficult not to pay attention to the Sox this year |

I would be surprised if a local group couldn't be found to buy the Sox. But it would be the ultimate FU to Sox fans from Reinsdorf to sell the team to a group that moves it from Chicago. This is because the reason his group bought the Sox in '81, and not Veeck's preferred choice Eddie DeBartolo Sr, was that Reinsdorf was considered a local ownership group and DeBartolo was not (also playing part is that DeBartolo owned race tracks and some believe there was some anti-Italian bigotry as well). |

My dad was a huge (football) Cardinals fan before the left Chicago. He hated the Bears. That changed pretty quickly. I would not become a Cubs fan--that's a different dynamic. But I know I would care about Nashville as much as my dad cared for the St. Louis Cardinals. I'd be out as well. |

I used to work with a guy who was a huge White Sox fan who also still wore Cardinals gear and followed the team, even though they had moved twice since he became a fan. |

I used to work with a guy who was a huge White Sox fan who also still wore Cardinals gear and followed the team, even though they had moved twice since he became a fan. I've literally never met one, and I meet 400-500 people a day furthering my right-wing agenda. I've also been selling cups (by the sleeve) on the side, so I meet people that way, too. Finally, I'm a volunteer for RaceMelt, so I walk the streets looking for Whites and Latinos and Asians to be friendly to. This is how I am helping us "melt" together. The great thing is that no one, after talking to me for a few minutes, sees me as a scary Black man. Progress is at a snail's pace, but you know something? You don't try, and you go even slower. And I have a prediction: We're gonna get there. |

Don't worry. If the Sox leave the Jacksonville Jaguars will move in to US Cellular Field. |
