A strikeout pitcher vs White Sox hitters - this lineup has a lot of trouble making contact on a routine basis, and, in particular, T.Iguchi, when he starts struggling, looks awful at the plate tonight sort of waving at pitches. All this came together tonight for Josh Beckett, who I believe had 10 K's in 6 IP. BTW, please move Contreras - for anything! Every start he makes probably makes other teams just think they are better off giving a young prospect an opportunity rather than take on his contract. |
