It would really be foolish to not be a power hitting club when you play 81 games at the Cell. The place is a launching pad. |

ideally, you want to develop players that can 'get on, get 'em over, get 'em in' at the big league level, but the with a lineup that consists of thome, konerko, dye, pierzynski on a daily basis, you have to be considered a power hitting club |

They need power to win games at the Cell, but you have to have the ability to manufacture runs when you aren't hitting them. Right now, the Sox are basically a HR hitting team (sometimes), but they have really struggled to drive in runs with men on base. |
