Post subject:  Ranger Remote

Ranger, I heard you mention a remote at Ozzie's last night. It's in my neck of the woods so I may come by to check it out. What are the details?

Ranger, I've got an idea for a promotion you can have on your pre and post shows.

The day that Contreras's ERA surpases 7.11 the first 20 callers get a free slurpie. If, after one of his starts, the ERA hits 7.11 on the nose the 711th caller wins a 7-11 store. What do you think Ranger? Run that past Mitch and 7-11.

dolphin, the remote is this Saturday (Aug 4).

Ozzie's Sports Bar & Grill in Niles
7305 N. Waukegan
very close to the Milwaukee & Touhy intersection.

Make sure you come say hello if you stop in. Good place to watch a game.

Beardown, I don't think the producers want to answer 711 phone calls.

"Hi, you're caller number six hundred forty-six. Thanks for calling."
"Hi, you're caller number six hundred forty-seven. Thanks for calling."
"Hi, you're caller number six hundred fort...uh, forty...uh...forty-seven? No wait, forty-six. No, forty-eight??? S***."

You should call 7-11 with that. They might go for it. I'm sure the prize insurance policy on giving away a store wouldn't be too high.

I had a fantasy football draft at Ozzie's last year. After the remote you can stumble next door to the sleazt motel for a knobber.

What time does the remote start Ranger? Any chance you can hook a brother up for that lunch buffet?

Is that what goes on over there? Certainly didn't look like a monastery.

Game is at 6:05 so we'll get going at 5:30. Everyone is welcome, so stop by and introduce yourself when you get there...

Today's gonna be a long ball game Ranger. Call B&B and tell them not to come in. Post game won't be over until 6pm.

That producer doesn't have to take 711 calls. Just put the phone off the hook and 2 hours later pick up a phone caller and say "You're the 711 caller." That's how it's always done I thought.

If any of you stop by tonight, just make sure you come introduce yourselves. Should be a good time.
