[Based on a survey of 257 major league nonpitchers]
Which is the best big league park to hit in?

Citizens Bank Park, (Philadelphia).....25%
Great American Ball Park, (Cincinnati).....19%
Coors Field, (Colorado).....8%
U.S. Cellular Field, (Chicago White Sox).....7%
Chase Field, (Arizona).....5%
Minute Maid Park, (Houston).....5%
Fenway Park, (Boston).....4%
Angel Stadium of Anaheim, (L.A. Angels).....2%

Which is the toughest park to hit in?

Petco Park, (San Diego).....16%
AT&T Park, (San Francisco).....14%
RFK Stadium, (Washington D.C.).....11%
Comerica Park, (Detroit)....11%
McAfee Colliseum, (Oakland).....6%
Safeco Field, (Seattle).....5%
Wrigley Field, (Chicago Cubs).....4%
U.S. Cellular Field, (Chicago White Sox).....1%

Not surprising that White Sox opponents would vote US Cellular as the best park to hit in and the White Sox would vote it as the toughest park to hit in, although I'm surprised the Sox were able to pick just one

Wrigley Field a tough park to hit in? Pop flys go for home runs on many days.

Yeah,
And it looks like the entire Cubs team must have voted for Wrigley as the toughest. Explains their historically crappy home record.
I'm pretty sure Adam Dunn wasn't one of the 4%

My thoughts exactly. Other teams certainly don't seem to have any trouble there.

Yes all 257 Cub players voted this year. I guess the wind never blows in.

I have had this dicussion with a group of Sox fans at Comiskular as well, while sitting in LF, I had to inform them that LF at Comiskular was 330 Feet and LF at Wrigley is 355.

330 moved in from 345 when originally constructed.

It is easier to hti at Comiskular, so what. Don'[t worry, does';t make your team better or worse.

Remember it was what aprk is EASIER to hit in, didn't mean HOMERS, but that is often used as the measuring stick, if that is the case, take a look at the facts

down the line at wrigley is deep, however the power alleys at 368, are the shortest in the game

im surprised wrigley isnt on the easy to hit in list either. if not because its a small park, then because they're hitting against cub pitching.

Also with the tall grass in the infield, balls that are normally basehits in other parks are gobbled up by the infielders at Wrigley.
