Too stiff, with too many cookie cutter opinions. Boring. He needs to hang with Barkley when Sir Charles hits Vegas. Frank should consider having him stay over by his house. |

You could tell the Big Hurt was out of his element. Not comfortable (neither was Cal Ripken) but he did ok. |

I tuned in more yesterday during the day. He didn't have the 'settled in' look, but I thought his analysis was solid. Good predictions on the Rockies and Holliday rolling, and days off hurting the Philly bats. His hitting approach against Josh Beckett. Not sure what else these guys can give, other than try and act stupid and be funny like Charles I seem to like guys that others don't though. I actually liked Dusty on the radio today with Jon Miller, it was a nice combo. Chip Caray doesn't bother me that much either. He's a nerd though, the B/B opening with him is hilarious. He made me laugh during one game @ LA vs Braves as they showed this plastic surgery babe dancing and he kept referencing Chipper Jones' multi HR game by talking about the 'two big melons' that he hit. |
