Remarkably the Sox are still alone in 2nd place. 2 games behind the Twins.

If they sweep the Twins in this 3 game set they're in first.

I'll take 2 out of 3.

No, but the Indians and Royals are only a half game back of the Sox and the Tigers are 1.5 games behind the Sox.
It's still early, but if the Sox look this series like they did the last one against Toronto.... it might be time to start the Bears talk

Look at this. This is the 3rd time in 6 starts that Floyd has had a no hitter through 5 innings. I think that's pretty damn impressive. I think it shows he's gonna be good all year. That's not a fluke.

If he loses the no hitter and you say I jinked it you're stupid.

While it in no way shows he will be good all year. he had done this before, maybe not three in a row, but was always capable of it.

DJ did toss out the NO HITS comment, is that the same as saying NO HITTER?

He took the first one into the eigth inning. On one of the most miserable days for baseball I've ever seen. I think this may be brewing into another of those "Cooper is a genius" years.

One criticism of Ozzie. I just thought of it.

Why not put Anderson in center? Take Dye out and move Swisher to right.

I don't think Anderson would have caught that ball either if he started from the same spot Swisher did. So it wouldn't have mattered.

But just as a strategy, Ozzie should have done that. We weren't gonna hit again with a 5 run lead. Why not put your best defenders out there?
