Funny to see Konerko leg out that triple and then beat Cuddyers throw home. Damn he's slow. Hopefully we can put a few more runs on the board, Im pretty sure Buehrle is gonna give up at least 3-4. |

Glad I went last night. The rain stopped at 7:30. Got to give kudos to the people in stands. This one should put the good guys 4 1/2 up in the division. |

Best part about this winning streak is it didnt come on a bunch of 2-1 wins. Nice to see the bats coming alive a bit. |

White Sox are playing some great ball against Minny. They have everything rolling right now, good pitching, and now the bats have gotten going. Very excting, let's keep this going, and put some distance between the rest of the division. |

We look good. I think we got something in Alexi Rameriz. Man, I know some will say it's a coincidence. I don't buy this sort of thing most of the time. But Jesus Christ, right after Ozzie makes threats of line-up changes and firing Greg Walker, we hit the shit out of the ball. |

Yeah the offense is really showing us something here these last 5 games. It's really nice to see Buehrle having this kind of a start that we know he's capable of. Buehrle and the offense have been the biggest detriments to the team so far, and it's great to see both excelling today. |

But Jesus Christ, right after Ozzie makes threats of line-up changes and firing Greg Walker, we hit the shit out of the ball. It looks like we have a starting 2B in Alexi Ramirez. He's a good hitter, and is learning defensively, but I think he'll only get better. You could be right about the recent events, but it's impossible to tell. Either way, they are hitting, and this is another White Sox winner! |

Three straight wins with double digit runs. This is the type of offense Ozzie was demanding. Seaon high 10 games over .500. With the staff this team has it can be very dangerous this year if the offense performs with any type of consistency. It'll be interesting to see what they do at the deadline if they have this type of division lead. |

Looks like the Sox may win this division by default. The Twins suck. The Tiger pitching got thinner with Bonderman going down for the year. The Indians lost Westbrook for the season, and probably will trade C.C away at the deadline. |

Yeah I agree but I think even if the division was as good as advertised the Sox would still be contending. The staff looks like it will hold up, and the pen is way better than last seasons. The offense is starting to pick it up. I can see this team possibly contending for the AL, especially if they add a piece at the deadline(Maybe a true leadoff guy?) |

I'm bringing a broom to the game tommorow. Sweeping this 4 game set would be HUGE. Take 2 of 3 from the Tigers, then fatten up again on the dismal Rockies and Pirates. |

Is there a better GM in MLB than Williams? Ramirez, Floyd, Danks, and Quentin, all critical pieces, aquired for virtually nothing. |

Right. And they all make nothing. I think they signed Ramirez to a 4 year deal. 3 million a year. That looks like a steal now. |

I dont know enough to know that, although Im sure there are. The Twins GM/scouting director impresses me. They always seem to have a ton of great young talent. Ditto for the A's. I really like KW and Ozzie though. I think in general we are in good hands with them. I thought it was laughable that Elmhurst Steve said all the Sox good players are old and they have no good young players. |

Don't discount the thoughts of an Elmhurst Steve. The man clearly knows baseball, with the 702 games he's attended and all.. |

Look at the Cubs compared to the Sox. They have a much older team then we do. I've been saying this all year. We don't have much in the minors but all of the good young players on on the roster right now. They are all performing well. |

Maybe only Tampa has done more with their farm system than the Sox. Vazquez, Danks, Thornton, Floyd, Swisher, and Quentin are all indirect products of the Sox system. |

In the Trib, Phil says the scouts say the only tool he has is some speed. |

Alexei Ramirez has come a long way since really struggling & looking out of place at the start of the season. Besides a red hot bat and an average now near .300 going into today's makeup game vs. the Twins, Alexei has flashed some good leather defensively, and has wrestled away the starting second base job from Juan Uribe. In fact, how far has Uribe fallen even though he was activated about 2 weeks ago from the hamstring injury? In each of the last 2 games, Pablo Ozuna has come into the game at second, shifting Ramirez over to shortstop with the Sox well in command. I really like how #10 has developed since Uribe went out with a hammy during the West Coast road trip in Anaheim. You can't take Ramirez out of the lineup! He is playing that damn good! |

I get the feeling the Sox could play the Twins 10 times in a row and beat them all 10. Break out the extra big broom on this one. If they sweep the Tigers, you can officially pronounce that team dead. I would not be shocked if it sparked a sell off. |

You know what's great about this winning streak? The've done it while Quentin has been in a slump. I think his average has dropped 17 points during these 7 games. It's not great that Quentin is in a slump. What's great is that the Sox haven't lost while he's been in the slump. They've picked him up after he's carried us all year. |

Simply getting a minimal amount of success from Thome and Konerko really makes this offense move. |

Very very good to see OC getting on base with a little more regularity. |
