White Sox fans, it is official. Paul Konerko and his oblique injury have landed on the 15 day Disabled List, but the Sox have once again passed on calling up Outfielder Jerry Owens in favor of journeyman DeWayne Wise from Triple "A" Charlotte. While it likely means Nick Swisher covering the tabs at first base, it could open the door for extended playing time for Brian Anderson in center field. I do NOT want to see Alexei Ramirez in center again! Ramirez should be at second ahead of Juan Uribe... |
