1. How many games? 2. How much money? 3. What else? (I am sure my man, Jay Mariotti will think of a few more) P.S. That Swish really showed his toughness. Swish gave Greinke his Dirty Thrity look, or now is it Dirty One look....woooooooo! |

Suspended for the KC game? I'll say 0 games, $5,000 fine. |

Pretty sure Ozzie touched the umpire? Matt Sinatro got 2 games for almost the exact thing, except Sinatro didn't come out and tell the world he intentionally throws at people on top of it. Yes, we know it is part of baseball, but once again does anyone think his rant helps the Sox in anyway? seems "The Gov'nor" agrees with me Mariotti must have already turned in his Monday story on Favre to have missed this one. |

The crew chief apologized to him and told him it was the wrong call. No suspension or fine. |

Even though Gary Cederstrom, the crew chief of the umpiring guys that worked this weekend's disaster in Kansas City, apologized after the game in the visiting team's clubhouse, I have a bad feeling that Ozzie's latest tantrum might get him a 2 game suspension from Bob Watson's office for what happened yesterday afternoon. |

3 games for the bump/push on the ump. (They can be wrong, that doesn't excuse physical contact. I'm pretty sure most managers feel the umps are wrong when they come out to argue) $15,000 fine - Both for his actions that day and his comments about prior purpose pitches after the game. What do I win this time? |

I didn't see if Ozzie made physical contact with the men in blue, but he was as irate as Lou Piniella following the fracas at the mound... |

http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=j ... &type=lgns This reminds me of the time Olin Kreutz admitted holding, Nocioni admitted flopping . . . |

According to ESPN Radio 1000, MLB has slapped White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen with a 2 game suspension for his postgame threat regarding all the hit batsmen after the 14-3 debacle in Kansas City Sunday afternoon. This despite crew chief Gary Cederstrom's apology for ejecting D.J. Carrasco for throwing inside at Miguel Olivo that led to the fracas that cleared the two teams' dugouts. Bench coach Joey Cora will serve as the acting manager during Guillen's suspension, because he can NOT appeal disciplinary action. |

Feel free to explain it to me Sox fans. OK, he gets the 2 game suspension for the threats. Greinke gets 5 games for throwing at Swish which will be knocked down to 3 games and be meaningless. Olivio who was thrown at, no matter Ozzie says, twice in a row. Gets 5 games? and Carasco gets nothing? Maybe I missed something, but didn't Carasco throw at Olivo the pitch before and the ball just happen to hit the knob of the bat for a foul ball? So the next pitch was in the same spot? Maybe I am mistaken? OK, I am appeased. Kenny even acknowledged that this could have been worse. |

Ozzie getting suspended does not make sense to me. Nor does Grienke. I could see like 2 games for Olivo. |

Ozzie getting suspended for making physical contact w/ an umpire doesn't make sense to you? Regardless of whether or not the ump's original decision is correct or not, NO ONE CAN MAKE AGGRESSIVE PHYSICAL CONTACT w/ an umpire!! You seriously don't get that? Greinke getting suspended doesn't make sense to you - for hitting a batter on purpose, following warnings and a bench clearing brawl? Is this your first rodeo, Frank? Have you never seen anything like this before? Grienke and his manager were AUTOMATICS for getting suspended. I'm gonna give you more credit than you give yourself, BIG guy, you're just not that stupid. |
