Fans, the White Sox & Twins have 25 games apiece remaining as I type this message. The Sox continue their series tonight & tomorrow at Cleveland before coming home to face the Anaheim Angels this weekend at U.S. Cellular Field. It's the first of a three game series vs. the Angels, and the first of the team's last extended homestand of the season, a 10 gamer that'll also include 4 vs. Toronto & 3 vs. Detroit before the Southsiders pack their bags for 10 more away from home. The Twins start a series at the Rogers Centre tonight vs. the Blue Jays before they come home this weekend to host the Tigers at the Metrodome, and a Saturday afternoon game that'll air locally on FOX 32 at 2:55p as its "Saturday Baseball Game of the Week", before the Twins head right back to the road. As things stand right now, I have a feeling that the final three road games of the season in that "glorified pool room" September 23-25 in Minneapolis may determine who wins the A.L. Central & who might be staying home for the playoffs. The Boston Red Sox seem more than content with the Wildcard spot, currently leading the Sox/Twins by 3 games.

Sox get hot at home, then take 2 of 3 at the Baggie putting the magic # at 1 when they come home to face Cleveland.
