I hear that Baseball Prospectus is reporting a possible trade between the teams. There trade rumor is Bobby Jenks and Jermaine Dye for Met top prospect Eduardo Rameriz, a ceterfielder that is supposedly a better player than current Twin terror Carlos Gomez, whom they got in the Johan Santana trade. Another player or two could be in the package coming to the Sox. |

At least another player or 2. Kenny would not trade 2 proven AllStar caliber players for just a CF prospect. |

I am still not clear on why the Sox would want to trade Jenks. If they do, who will be the closer next year? |

I would be very surprised if Jenks was moved this off season. |

That would be interesting. We know Wood would like to stay in Chicago. I wonder if offering him a 1 or 2 year incentive laden deal has crossed Kenny's mind. |

They have a young pitcher in the minors who had 36 saves last season that they do see as a future closer. |

That is for guys who are trying to prove something. Wood went through an entire season closing at an all star level. He is going to get double digit millions per year on the next contract. |

I don't see it, especially with all the talk that the Anaheim Angels' Francisco Rodriguez may sign a three year contract with the New York Mets to replace injured closer Billy Wagner. |
