Cabrera is not a leadoff man, and for the most part he played a solid SS. Swisher was undoubtedly a bust, but OC most certainly helped the Sox win a division title. |

well, however Kenny want to phrase it...the truth is that younger unproven guys are better for this team than post roid era stocky-slow guys. i understand the cash dump. that's fine, as long as we get to actually see these young dudes play. i can handle them being an average team next year if they make those steps, b/c paulie and dye and thome will likely not be around after the 09 season. but don't sign a 29 year old "journeyman" to fill these spots. please don't do it...(unless it's a pitcher). |
