Flip over during halftime or if the Bulls don't show up in the game and you can tell they'll get blown out.

I'll be paying attention to this more than the Hawks or Bulls.

I like the fact that McCarthy is finally healthy and pitching well but he can give up a few runs tonight and pitch well AFTER the Sox leave town.

I've been flipping between the Bulls/Celtics' Game 7, the Blackhawks/Canucks' Game 2 & NASCAR Crown Royal 400 in Richmond in addition to the White Sox/Rangers...They've had some rain in Arlington tonight, and it's in the forecast again tomorrow night on "ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball". Not good by any means...

motherfucking Contrares cannot continue to be marched out there every 5th game. He's had 4 terrible starts and one decent one.

He came back so quickly from the injury, and in spring training everyone said his stuff was nasty. Turn away this train wreck on the Southside will not be pretty,

Who said it? The Hawk? He never met a guy in a SOX uniform that "wasn't one of the best
in baseball."

Do any of these assholes know how to get out of the way of a pitch?!?

I'd like to find out if Nix can play 3B because Fields needs some bench time. Way too many strikeouts, no range, no power. His act is wearing thin so how about riding Nix's hot bad for a little while.

This whole team is pretty bad offensively. With that lineup, its not a surprise they are struggling tonite.

Everybody talks about how the Sox can't win in Oakland, but that Texas park hasn't been kind to them either.

You got that right, Frank...Keep in mind also that second baseman Chris Getz, catcher A.J. Pierzynski, DH Jim Thome & right fielder Jermaine Dye all weren't in the starting lineup. Part of the reason was that Ozzie wanted to get Jayson Nix in the lineup vs. a lefty the Rangers started the "Sunday Night Baseball" game with, although I think Getz can actually hit vs. lefties as well as righties. Also, with Dye out of the lineup after getting hit in the hand last night in that water-logged game that didn't end until after midnight, the White Sox have ONLY 2 healthy outfielders starting this game with Scott Podsednik in right field & Brent Lillibridge making his first start in center.

Josh Fields is out of Chicago's Monday lineup to nurse a sore left wrist, reports the Chicago Tribune's Mark Gonzales.

Jayson Nix gets the start at third base. Nix, a natural second baseman, took about 40 grounders at third prior to Monday's game against the Royals. He will bat second. Jermaine Dye, meanwhile, will miss his second consecutive game due to a swollen left hand.

Wally Pipp?? :D

Post subject:  Re: Sox/Rangers

Josh Fields was in a lot of pain as soon as he got plunked in the very 1st inning of last night's game. I'm surprised he finished last night's game, given the fact that Wilson Betemit played at first base last night & regular first baseman Paul Konerko was the DH giving Jim Thome a breather with the Rangers starting a lefty.

Not worried about Nix, but this Podsednik/Lillibridge playing everyday thing is wearing very thin on Coztansa.
