Zach Greinke has pitched very well for the Bill Engvall-looking Trey Hillman and the yes, first place Kansas City Royals in the A.L. Central, but so has Bartolo Colon for the White Sox. I wish the Sox had more than 2 healthy outfielders on the roster...I think it'll be the Sox third straight loss on this trip.

Quick 1-2-3 inning. If Bartolo doesn't give up any runs they may have a chance. That's not asking too much, is it??

Slow start on the year AGAIN, pitching is pedestrian, hitting is pedestrian.

Getting beat by no-name pitchers, etc, etc.

Are they just playing the tape from the start of the 2008 season? :puker:

Grienke is the best pitcher I have seen this year so far. Just dominating.

As a Sox fan, its been painful to watch the Sox face Grienke twice already. As a baseball fan, its been a joy to watch the Sox face Grienke twice already.

No W for Colon, but he kept the Sox in it. Quentin is really in a big funk. And this Pods/Lillibridge experiment has to be stopped.

Greinke has to have one of if not the best start to a season in major league history. In 6 starts he's 6-0 and has a 0.40 ERA with 54 K's and 8 walks. It's awfully hard to do much better than that. He's been absolutely amazing.

He's yet to give up a HR too.

I am sick of looking up at the scoreboard in the fifth and seeing a giant zero. This is garbage. Something's gotta give,if it's Greg Walker so be it.Is it too early for a shake up? :?

Yeah, firing Greg Walker will automatically fix everything.

Chili Palmer + Joe Cowley = MATCH.

Walker always gets off to a slow start. If he gets a couple hits tonight he can turn his season around. He's the type of hitter that can get hot and put the team on his back and carry them for a few weeks at a time.

Dial flipping on the radio this morning and I heard Mike and Mike say that Fernando Valenzuela and Walter Johnson were the only other two to win their first six games and post a sub 0.4 ERA to start a season.
Damn decent company to keep with that accomplishment. I know baseball is built on minutiae, but that's an impressive start.

The Big Train was probably the best pitcher to play the game.

Zach Greinke may be this year's Cliff Lee, and the way #23 in Royals' blue is pitching this year, I wouldn't be shocked if he won the Cy Young, and it's only May with plenty of baseball still to come...I have to tip my cap to Greinke.

I would like to see someone try to get into a fight with Greinke after he throws inside. I figure that because he suffers from an anxiety disorder, if someone were to mess with him, it might screw him up for the rest of the year...I guess I'm now a meatball fan...

Kyle Davies reminds me so much of a young Jeff Suppan. Hopefully he won't experience all the arm injuries that Suppan has has to endure. That said, I hope the Sox light his ass up tonight!

They fucking blow. Nice home run ball Gavin.

That HR should have counted for at least 5-6 runs. Man that ball was killed.

Good to see them scoring other than via the HR.

I am not, by any means, in the meatball "fire Greg Walker" camp, but my god he has got to do something about this failing to get a runner in from 3rd base with less than 2 out.

11th inning -- choke on it! Instead we will load em up and hope for the DP.
Hold on -- we are pitching to him...
1-1
2-1 and the man runs to second uncontested (and uncongested)
2-2...
3-2 on a ball in the dirt, good block by AJ
3-2 after a foul ball...
LINER to 3B -- Out #2!

Buck rips one past Fields to score the winning run after 11 innings. :(

This is why at the end of the year the best pitcher gets the coveted "Walter Johson Award" idiot!

Kinda like how the biggest asswipe of the league gets the "WaltNoNeck" award IDIOT!
