Firing Greg Walker automatically makes this team the AL Central favorites in Walt's mind.

I dunno what the fuck you're on old man, but pass some this way.

I've never understood the hate for any hitting coach. If veteran players forget how to hit, how can it be Walker's or any other hitting coach's fault?
Walt would have been part of the mob in the "she's a witch" scene in the Holy Grail, just a howling halfwit.

I never said that getting rid of Walker makes them the AL Central favorites.

I am questioning his helping of young players. Anderson, Lillibridge, Owens, Fields,Raimeriz and on and on. You think hitting coaches are useless (like most of your opinions). Have you ever heard of Walt Hriniak or Charlie Lau?

they already fired hriniak.

Post subject:  Re: Why not blame Walker?

It seems like such an easy target blaming hitting coach Greg Walker for the White Sox lack of hitting and the fact the team BA is second worst in the American League. The Ranger mentioned something on Saturday's "White Sox Weekly" show about Walker's job not being as easy as it seems and he seemed to point the finger away from Greg and at the players themselves. If the Sox do fire Walker, current hitting coach Gary Ward at Triple "A" Charlotte isn't the answer. When Gary was here a few years ago, a number of players weren't very comfortable and didn't like the way Gary taught Sox hitters.
