Ozzie will be playing that untalented MF every day by the middle of next week.

I'd love to believe he will ride Pods and Anderson until they cool off but I know differently.

Guys, Ozzie is stubborn, pure & simple. Even though we all know B.A. is the best outfielder on this roster defensively, #32's problem has been his inability to hit Major League pitching. That explains why guys like Rob Mackowiak, Ken Griffey, Jr., Alexei Ramirez, Jerry Owens, DeWayne Wise & Scott Podsednik have all played center field ahead of Anderson since Aaron Rowand left via free agency after the 2005 World Series title season. I also think that Ozzie has this thing with matchups, too. Usually, if a lefty's starting, Wise would get the start with Anderson available off the bench and vice versa when a lefty is starting. I think the same is true at second base, where I think Chris Getz can hit lefties as well as righties. However, Jayson Nix and/or Brent Lillibridge, before he got sent down to Triple "A" Charlotte, start ahead of #17 in silver & black. I don't think it's fair.

Boy I am sure glad I drafter Quentin this year in fantasy. What a disappointmnet. Do you think this will be a lingering problem all year? I am thinking about trying to get whatever I can for him now.

No matter who you ask, whether it's Ozzie, SCORE/Sun-Times White Sox insider Joe Cowley, the Ranger, whoever, the heel injury Carlos Quentin injured originally in Cleveland earlier this month is believed to be a lingering problem #20 likely will have to play through the rest of the way.

Oh yeah. He sucks!!!! He'll be cut when we call up Beckham. That's coming in a couple of weeks. I think Beckham makes his debut at Wrigley Field.

I hope you're right. Are there any financial reasons or union-related rules that would hurt the Sox if Beckham was promoted prior to September 1st?

If not, I'd bring him up immediately. Beckham would experience some growing pains, but he'd be better than what they have now.
