That's not what I heard. Brian Anderson felt light-headed and DeWayne Wise replaced #32 in the top 5th last night. It's believed Bobby Jenks had similar symptoms when he blew that save vs. Pittsburgh about a week to 10 days ago. Even though yet another unknown, Oakland lefty Brett Anderson, started today's game at "The Cell", Wise got the start ahead of Brian in center field. |

What's with Anderson and all kinds of bugs he attracts? Didn't he get something a while back too, playing in winter leagues in Venezuela? |

I felt really sick after I left the game today as a result of the way The Sox played. |

Ranger specifically stated on the post-game show that it's a bug going around the clubhouse and not H1N1. Worse than this is Conor Jackson of the Diamondbacks, who's got an apparently nasty case of Valley Fever. He's on the 15-day disabled list and since Valley Fever symptoms are similar to mononucleosis (from what I understand, you develop a "rash" on the lungs that sticks around for months) he may not return this season. Hilarious silver lining to the story: Jackson is going to appear on NBC's General Hospital. |
