I wish both teams didn't care as much during all the other games! For 2 teams that spew this "Just another game" and "For the fans" Both teams played their 2 best games of the season thus far. It's OK to say "yeah, it matters, yes I want to beat them a little more than other teams, but I realize beating them doesn't get us anymore than beating any other team. A win is win, but this one is just a bit sweeter to get." |

I think the only reason they care is so they don't have to hear it from the shithead, meatball fans when they're out somewhere. 'Why couldn't you guys beat those fags on the north side' 'Why couldn't you guys beat that trailor trash on the southside'. I'm sure the older guys who have played in a few of them like AJ, Konerko, Lee and Zambrano absolutely HATE the series. I know I would. |

I hate this series now. It brings out the worst in the meathead knuckledragging assclown society. The sooner it's over, the better we'll all be. The sussurrus of stupid will dissapate. |

People were generally respectful where I was sitting. Friendly jabs not all out THE FUCKIN CUBS/SOX SUCK |

They are playing before a sell out crowd, are being broadcast on two stations and are being covered two deep by every media outlet in this town. Like it or not, this game is on a big stage and the players are very aware of it. |
