As far as I know, Mark Buehrle is supposed to start Sunday's finale at the Metrodome vs. the Twins, two days before the All-Star Game in St. Louis. Meanwhile, tonight's game was the first of 4 straight lefties the White Sox will be dealing with, as the Southsiders will be dealing with Francisco Liriano Friday night in Minneapolis. That explains why Jayson "Should be #6, not #5" Nix started tonight at second base ahead of Chris Getz. Although Nix went 1-for-4 with a run scored and played solid defensively this eve, Ozzie should FINALLY come clean about the second base job being a platoon. I've liked what I've seen from Getz, and I feel he can hit lefties as well, if not better than righties. Yet, there are very rare occasions where Getz starts ahead of Nix at second vs. a lefty. I'm probably nitpicking, but don't insult my intelligence.
