White Sox can't find rehabbing Colon

Where is Bartolo Colon, who had been in Arizona on an injury rehab and is scheduled for a minor-league start Thursday? "I know where he is supposed to be right now. He's supposed to be in [Triple-A] Charlotte, preparing to start Thursday," White Sox general manager Ken Williams said Tuesday. "Efforts to contact his agent have been successful. Their efforts to contact their client have not been so successful." If Colon never arrives? "Somebody will take the mound," Williams said. "This train is going to keep rolling."

If he is not professional enough at this point in his career to keep in touch with his team, then he should just be cut and forgotten about.

A pig can't change his oink!

Colon was given permission to leave the team Wednesday and return home to the Dominican Republic to attend to a private matter. The 2005 AL Cy Young Award winner informed the Red Sox on Friday that he wasn't coming back.

Colon does realize he plays for the White Sox and not the Red I hope. Or maybe noneck is colorblind, on top of being an asswipe.

Call off the dogs and don't worry about calling John Walsh from "America's Most Wanted". The White Sox have found Bartolo Colon and will make his rehab start tomorrow for Triple "AAA" Charlotte. Ozzie mentioned it in his postgame comments following tonight's 5-1 win over hapless Cleveland at U.S. Cellular Field.

I thought he was from the Dominican?

Edit; Yep he is.

Quote:
A prospect from the Dominican Republic, Colón was signed by the Cleveland Indians as a free agent in 1993[1] and made his major league debut at the Anaheim Angels on April 4, 1997, receiving a no decision[2]. Colón grew up in a home without electricity, running water or indoor plumbing in the Dominican Republic. He does major charity work for his old community. [3]

They can locate a large object using a scientific method called Astrometry. I doubt he's bright enough for Doppler Spectroscopy.

The New York Yankees are taking a chance on Bartolo Colon in their quest for another quality arm in the starting rotation.

The team said it has signed the right-hander to a one-year, minor league deal with an invitation to spring training. He could earn $900,000 if he makes the big league roster.

Colon, 37, didn't pitch in the majors last season. He last appeared in the majors in 12 games for the White Sox in 2009, going 3-6 with a 4.19 ERA.
