It isnt the final take tho, they are going to play some games there next year.

Sox should win 2 out of 3, but with it being in Minny, they will probably lose 2 out of 3.

Have you ever been in that place before?
It is awful....if you haven't been there before, it is in a sick way worth the trip just to see that hellhole.

RFDC, I don't think even MLB "Commissioner" Allan H. Selig would be stupid enough to allow the Twins to play a handful of games in the Metrodome next season and have the White Sox continue to play in that dump! Then again, he's also the same idiot who allowed the Anaheim Angels to be known as the Los Angeles Angels, so what do I know? I think the Southsiders' misery continues and gets swept out of Minnesota... :(

The season may be shot for 2009 now in the wake of Jim Thome getting traded to the Dodgers & Jose Contreras to the Rockies, but there are still questions moving forward.

1. Will Ozzie put a stop to the platoon at second base and give Chris Getz the full-time job for 2010? As you've seen during this freefall, Getz's loss may not seem like much, but they've missed his left-handed bat, speed & clutch hitting after he went down with the lower oblique. Jayson Nix may be defensively better, but his BA should be a lot higher than .238 despite 11 homers.

2. Scott Podsednik: DH? With Thome now traded, we may see more Pods as the DH should the Sox decide to keep him for 2010. His range in the outfield is awful in center field, and isn't much better in left.

3. Jake Peavy: Now that the Sox have waved the white flag on '09, when will the Sox pull the plug on pitching him the rest of this season and take their chances on the likes of Carlos Torres & Dan Hudson? For what it's worth, whitesox.com reports that Torres will start Thursday's makeup game vs. the Cubs' Ryan Dempster at Wrigley.
