As long as Alexei Ramirez is ON THIS ROSTER, forget about Gordon Beckham playing shortstop for the Chicago White Sox! Beckham is better suited for second base to begin with, and there were many who felt "Bacon" as Ozzie calls him, was better than Chris Getz & Jayson Nix combined when Gordon played second base in Spring Training. There were many that felt Beckham should've made the big club when the Sox broke camp. Beckham's not a third baseman, but he'll easily make the adjustment to playing second full-time in 2010. This is the one move in the Getz/Joshua Fields/Mark Teahen trade with Kansas City that I believe the Sox have gotten right. |

He is trying to rebuild on the fly, yet stay competetive. There's been 2 years of that now. Unless the Twins or Tigers make gigantic upgrades this offseason, he needs to win at least 92 (figuring that 90 should win the division). |

Steve Stone was just on w/"B & B" on the White Sox flagship and feels that Mark Teahen's line drives in Kansas City will be homers at U.S. Cellular Field. He also think very highly of Gordon Beckham's arm as a second baseman... |
