Tony Pena and the White Sox have avoided arbitration agreeing to terms on a one-year $1.2M contract. |

The White Sox and LHP John Danks avoided arbitration on Tuesday by agreeing to a one-year, $3.45M contract. I'm very surprised he didn't sign an extension. Hopefully they are still talking and will agree to something soon. edit: stupid cut and paste. Danks is a lefty! |

He's hoping for a big payday. Can't blame him I guess. But he'd better pitch like he did in 2008 or he'll cost himself millions. |

Wouldn't surprise me if they locked him up long term by the end of spring training, this was just for arb reasons |
