I'm going to take my chances that there will be plenty of tickets available at walk up for all games this year.

I was looking for specific games that tend to sell out...like the weekend series with the Yankees.

Actually, that team 8.1 miles north of "The Cell" always sells out...

I was making sure he was paying attention... To my knowledge, the Cubs' series always sells out at "The Cell", something I don't think the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers and other teams tend to do when they make their only visit to the South side.

I tried to get tickets for the Sox/Cubs Saturday evening game - I guess they are sold out of pre-sale.

Thanks though!

I tried all 3 dates and no luck - I think they hold a number back for the Ozzie Plans. They were available earlier in the week for the other presales.

Red Sox series usually sells out. There are alot of bandwagon Red Sox fans. Actually plenty of my Cubs fan friends have the Red Sox as their "AL team"

They are readily available for reasonable prices the week before the game. I think scalpers are wise to the deflating market for the games but fans tend to overbuy. Then they are stuck with a face value market leading up to game day. My scalper friend will not even buy tickets for the game.

These people are the worst. Just a bunch of bandwagon jumpers rooting for a trendy team because it's popular.

Im a Cub fan, and I don't need an "AL Team".

I have no desire to go to a Cubs Sox game. Its packed, everything is overpriced, and there's bound to be fights because that series brings out the lowest common meatball in both fans. The only way I'd go is if I was handed free tickets.

How is that different from the ordinary Sox game?

Oh, the first one...

Your life is a Cubs/Sox game.

You're telling me if I called you on Friday, and said Dude I've got Cubs/Sox tickets tomorrow at the Cell, you're gonna be all like "Nah it's too meatbally for me."?

I said that if I lucked out and got free tickets I'd go. I'd rather pay for 2 or 3 tickets to other games than 1 Cubs/Sox game.

I can't argue with that. Damn, I won't pay for even Cubs tickets at this point. I'd rather spend that money on a boom mic stand and a new capo.
